The only way to win the game is to blame

We have always been hearing this that “Pakistan is not a poor country but a poorly managed country”. That is a harsh reality the Pakistani’s must acknowledge. The elections in Pakistan is a process of changing faces not the policies. Those who replace the executive and parliamentary seats are just the substitute of old ones who had power and authority.

The authorities and powers are used for personal benefits by the elected members and they play politics in such a manner that it results in perks and privileges for the members who are in power.  In the war of gaining resources to the maximum level such strategies are played which would only benefit not only the ruling party but the ones who claim to be a strong opposition.

PML-N who was in the opposition for the tenure ended and ruled by Peoples Party. The general elections of 2013 just swapped the authorities and powers but responsibilities are completely ignored by our politicians. The win win strategy is being played again by both the parties unless the rule of PML-N comes to an end.

Talking about responsibilities the recent evidence of President Zardari’s visit to Iran and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia when the whole country was destructed by floods. PTI was greatly criticized by other party leaders when Imran Khan went to England for medication and some passed arguments that “The Elephants are more important to Imran Khan than the security of Pakistani Public”. The visit to Saudi Arabia and Iran is more important than the lives of inhabitants of all the areas destructed by recent floods. Blaming game is what the Pakistani Politicians play and that they hold power to win the game of politics.

Laws and orders are followed by politicians when they want to avoid the questions asked regarding the responsibilities and duties they are liable to pay towards the general public.
Democracy is a tool in Pakistan to make fool of the public, the event of recent jail break in Dera Ismail Khan is an evidence. When the terrorists attacked the prison and successfully accomplished their mission, here comes the democracy as tool to run away from the responsibilities. The provincial government of KPK was blamed, here I would like to quote the attack on Kamra Air Base back in 2012, did the parties used the tool of provincial autonomy to blame PML-N which was the ruling party in Punjab at the time of attack. Not only this had we forgotten the attack on the naval air base in Karachi, no body pointed out Pakistan Peoples Party for that. What about the terrorist activities in Gilgit-Baltistan, did we blame the federal government, who is responsible for the recent assassination of military and policemen in Chillas? PTI is held responsible for the drone attack in the FATA region though the areas are administered and governed by Pakistan’s federal government.

The only business the politicians are concerned about is to criticize their opponents without the prior acknowledgment towards the positive step any party initiates, either it is a metro bus service or the digital FIR system and so on. The only way to win the political game is to blame other parties.
