An Enthusiastic Commitment Of Mine With Health

Being health conscious and the possession of an enthusiastic commitment in an individual and among all, to be so, sounds naturally to be plain but tremendously to be a constructive tendency pertinent to whatever declares health as being nothing else but vividly what we may call wealth.

A layman may associate the term of health with the profession of medicine or so, but, as a matter of fact, it’s something beyond the associations and considerations of many of us.

Quite pleasant a time it was , when people weren't although health conscious but were healthy and wealthy .They didn't care for their health but their diet was so much a strong one that they rarely could have had the chance of consulting or visiting a doctor. Diet in olden times comprised good food and heavy manual labour. Life expectancy at that very time was almost double against what’s it today. It’s simply amazing. Isn't it?????

“As you sow, so shall you reap” Earlier, people used to take each and every diet that could fulfill or satiate their needs, but at the same time , they readily accepted all hardships, whatsoever, not because they were bound to do so but solely because they took all hardships a challenge for a brave confrontation.

Diet at that time was really the one that could be termed as number one and was completely free from all sorts of chemicals and harmful materials therein, which could serve the purpose of preservation.

Today that kind of food is highly difficult to be approached and isn’t termed as number one but is known as ORGANIC FOOD. This food is too expensive for the poor to afford and among the rich it’s considered to be a symbol of pride, aristocracy and influence.

But even today, one can enjoy a healthy and wealthy life by following the following tips, which are must to be emulated by an individual for a healthy lifestyle:

 Drink more water:

Most of us actually don’t drink enough water every day. Water is essential for our body to function – Know over 60% of our body is made up of water? Water is needed to carry out our body functions, remove waste and carry nutrients and oxygen around our body. Since we lose water every day through urine, bowel movements, perspiration and breathing, we need to compensate our water intake.

Get enough sleep:

When you don’t rest well, you compensate by eating more. Usually it’s junk food. Get enough rest and you don’t need to snack to stay awake. Also, lack of sleep causes premature aging, and you wouldn’t want that.

Eat more fruits

DRY5Y

Fruits are a plethora of vitamins and minerals. Taking in synthetic supplements are not the same as consuming the foods direct from nature. Fill your palate with these most nutritious fruits: Watermelon, Apricots, Avocado, Apple, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Guava, Papaya, Strawberries.

Eat more vegetables:

Like fruits, vegetables are important for the well being of our health. Experts suggest that we should have 5-9 servings of fruits/vegetables, and unfortunately most people don’t even have at least 5 servings! Some of my favorite vegetables include: Kidney beans, black beans, long beans, French beans, sprouts, button mushrooms and carrots.

Say no to oily food:

Reduce your intake of fast food, fries, doughnuts, chips, wedges, and foods that have been deep fried. Not only are they very fattening (1 tablespoon of oil is 120 calories), deep fried food contains acrylamide, a potential cancer-causing chemical. According to a BBC report, an ordinary bag of crisps may contain up to 500 times more of the substance than the top level allowed in drinking water by the World Health Organisation (WHO).There are better alternatives for oily foods, such as grilled, steamed, stir-fried.

Cut out sugary foods:

These are your candy bars, your pastries, chocolate, cookies, cakes and jelly donuts. Not only do they not fill you, they trigger you to eat more due to the sugar rush they cause Go for healthy snacks instead – you’ll be more satisfied and happy.

Go organic:

Organic foods are foods produced without “synthetic inputs such as pesticides and chemical fertilizers, do not contain genetically modified organisms, and are not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives”.

Stop smoking

It has been extensively proven that smoking is detrimental to health, severely increasing the risk of lung cancer, kidney cancer, esophageal cancer (of our gullet), heart attack, and more. Smoking “light” cigarettes does not decrease health risks. Bottom line – if you’re a smoker, quit for better health of not just yourself, but also your family and friends. If you don’t smoke, stay that way and don’t start.

Stress, depression, hopelessness, sorrow, grief, anxiety, frustration are the problems which a person can easily overcome. There is no need at all of taking medicines of high potency. Simply add the items below to your diet, on immediate basis:

 §  Cashews:

They're great snacks, and because they are crunchy and a little salty, they cure many cravings. For those trying to lose weight, they're such a potently satisfying combo of protein and fat that it's hard for me not to recommend them at every single meal. BUT ALWAYS AVOID HIGHLY SALTED CASHEWS, AS THEY WON’T EVER SOUND GOOD, PARTICULARLY FOR PATIENTS. Cashews are an especially good source of zinc—a 1-ounce serving has 11 percent of your RDA. Low levels of zinc have been linked to both anxiety and depression. Since our bodies have no way of storing zinc, it's important to get some every day.

§  Garlic:

Like many plants, garlic is jam-packed with powerful antioxidants. These chemicals neutralize free radicals (particles that damage our cells, cause diseases) and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage the free radicals cause over time. Among the compounds in garlic is allicin, which has been linked to fending off heart disease, cancer, and even the common cold. Because stress weakens our immune system, we need items like garlic, which can toughen it back up.

§  Green Tea:

While it does contain caffeine, green tea also has an amino acid called theanine. Researchers at the University of Illinois say that in addition to protecting against some types of cancer, this slimming food is a brain booster as well, enhancing mental performance. Drink two cups each day.

· Oat:

A complex carbohydrate, oatmeal causes your brain to produce serotonin, a feel-good chemical. Not only does serotonin have antioxidant properties, it also creates a soothing feeling that helps overcome stress. Studies have shown that kids who eat oatmeal for breakfast stay sharper throughout the morning. And beta-glucan, the type of soluble fiber found in oatmeal, has been shown to promote greater satiety scores than other whole grains.

§ Yummy yummy oranges:

Another vitamin C powerhouse, oranges have the added benefit of being totally portable. That tough skin keeps them protected while they're bouncing around in your purse or backpack, meaning you can tote them anywhere. Experiment with all the varieties—clementines, tangelos, mineolas.

§  Walnuts:

The sweet flavor of walnuts is so pleasant, and it's nice to know they've been proven to provide a bit of a cognitive edge. They contain alpha-linolenic acid, an essential omega-3 fatty acid, and other polyphenols that have been shown to help prevent memory loss. Researchers at Tufts University found that animals that ingested walnuts even reversed some signs of brain aging. To bring out their flavor, I toast them for 10 minutes, then chop them and add them to salads.

· Banana is a good source of vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber. It should be a part of our everyday diet. You can have it whole, in your fruit salad or in milk shakes and smoothies.

§  A spoonful of honey and some lemon juice added to tea makes an excellent drink to soothe sore throat.

To conclude, I’ll have to practice a just attitude with cucumber by mentioning ten of its most splendid benifits:
