When is a change going to take place?
The recent earthquake in Pakistan has left me devastated. The destruction caused has ruined the lives of many to an extent there is no meaning in their life or a way of living. The most basic accessories we take for granted are not available to the poorest people. Homes and livelihood are destroyed. Now, moving away from the aftermath of the earthquake, I want to discuss the responsibility of the president of Pakistan and many other powerful people that took no further action to improve housing, health and education that was lost.
For nearly 10 years i have heard the same speech by the people of Pakistan, the ones that are meant to have power but aren’t doing anything. They come out and declare their speeches with their fancy language on how they are going to “improve security in Pakistan” and all the other myriad of difficulties. But I and Pakistan witness no improvement; only the continuous suicide bombings and high crime rate. When is a change going to take place? When are the people of Pakistan going to take a stand? Pakistan truly is not independent, because if it were, a school bus, or a market place wouldn’t get blown up everyday. You see, the president cares that much about his people that he decides to take the courageous decision to get his health checked in the UK while leaving behind the ill-health and the disadvantaged. How much money must all these people earn that work in the government position? I’d say enough to eradicate poverty in Pakistan and to improve most if not all other problems.
People that are in the government position get paid to make sure their country is safe, well kept, under control. Not to witness massacres everyday as if it’s not their own people, not to ignore the disabled. They sit there in their comfy chairs, with their AC on while the poor endure torture. They are doing nothing. Nothing. Even when they get paid a price that we would be astonished to know. They are lazy, inhumane, barbaric, disgusting humans.
