Here it comes our worst enemy depression, which messes up our happiness and abilities. It reaches our lives boring. Now a day, depression is everywhere. It has extended to every house and indeed every mind, especially of our young. This is a materialistic age, which has produced a great deal of psychological troubles like anxiety, stress, drug addiction and thoughts of suicide. But luckily, depression is a mental illness, not a mark of weakness and is treatable. Just be strong enough to struggle with it.
Today it’s time to get rid of this mental malady and this can simply be done by following some ways:
.Think positively- Your positive thinking enables you to cope up every bad site. Optimism helps you to struggle with depression. It negatively affects your quality of life.
·Understand the emotional cycle– Life is an emotional roller coaster. One day you feel like growing up, the other day you feel like passing down and some day in between. These are your positive and negative emotions. Every day has something new in it. Knowing a feeling of depression is only temporarily makes it less dreadful.
·Set a goal– When you are depressed, you feel like you can’t accomplish anything. This makes you feel bad about yourself. To push back, set a goal daily which you can well reach. This will help you experience better and happy.
.Try meditation– Meditation reduces your stress and keep you calm. It permits you to concentrate on something. Meditation can be done by imagining a candle flame.
·Spend time with positive people– Nothing affects the way you think and feel more than the people you interact with. If you are surrounded by negative people, you will start thinking the same. To ameliorate your life, pass time with positive people.
·Focus on gratitude– It’s in human nature to measure himself against those ahead of him on the social ladder. People care more about being rich. When you consider that everything is good in your life and compare the problems with less fortunate people, the issue that’s making you depressed won’t seem as serious.
·Get adequate sleep- Depression can make it difficult to obtain adequate rest. Not receiving adequate rest can make depression worse. Go to bed and get up at the same time everyday.
·Eat healthy– In depression, some people eat much and some do not. Attempt to maintain balance of diet. This will make you feel better.
·Work life balance– Make a balance in work and life. Do not work much so that you get depressed or stressed. Work life balance, helps you to stay healthy and happy.
·Consult a doctor– For better treatment, must consult a doctor regularly. This will assist you to easily cope up
